At Menu-Order AI, privacy and trust are the most crucial components of our business relationship. We outline in this document what information we collect, how we use and protect, and what methods are in place to keep your information safe while using our app and services.
Information We Collect

Account Information:
Your name, your email, and your dietary preferences for the signup, or subscription to our updates.
Phone Number (optional):
If you choose to add a phone number in the app, or enter one on the Menu-Order AI web form shown after scanning a Menu-Order AI QR code, we collect it and use it only for the SMS programs you consent to, as described in our SMS Messaging Policy below.
App Engagement Information:
Search queries, and views of system menu items, and location data (only with your consent).
Device Information:
Information about your device, including device type, operating system, unique identifiers, and usage of the app would also be captured.
Location:
We collect coarse location data, which is used for app functionality. Location data is only collected with your consent.
Identifiers:
We collect User ID and Device ID, which are used for app functionality and are linked to the user’s identity.
Usage Data:
We collect product interaction data, which is used for app functionality, analytics, and product personalization.
Diagnostics:
We collect crash data and performance data, which are used for app functionality and tracking purposes to help us improve the app’s stability and performance.
Analytics, Aggregated Data, and Data Sharing
When users interact with Menu-Order AI, we collect certain anonymous usage information, such as:

Aggregated and De-Identified Data

Children’s Privacy
Our app is intended for, and marketed to, users 13 and older. We do not capture data from users under 13. If we do, we will remove that data/documents immediately.

As our app develops, we might have to update this policy. Such changes will be effective once posted. We therefore suggest you periodically check this page.
SMS Messaging Policy
Order AI LLC operates Menu-Order AI. Providing a phone number is optional and is not required to sign up for or use the app. We collect the number you provide and use it only for the SMS programs you consent to. Each program requires its own consent.
Verification codes: Sent when you select the SMS verification consent checkbox and request a code in the app. One message per code request, including resend requests.
Marketing messages: Sent only if you select a marketing consent checkbox, either on a separate screen shown in the Menu-Order AI app after you verify your phone number or on the Menu-Order AI web form shown after scanning a Menu-Order AI QR code (available to anyone, with or without an account). These include offers to download and use the Menu-Order AI app and promotional offers on Menu-Order AI subscriptions, such as limited-time discounts for users who have not yet subscribed. After subscribing, you receive one confirmation text. Up to 5 messages per month. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in consent data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Our provisions about sharing or selling aggregated data do not include mobile phone numbers or SMS consent data. SMS delivery providers process your phone number only as needed to deliver messages on our behalf.

Yes, scan a menu photo or a menu on your phone (including delivery menus).
Is it only for people on GLP-1 medication?
No. GLP-1 is a core use case, but you can also use it for high-protein, or low-carb goals.
Do I need to count calories or track macros?
No. If you want to, you can—but the main value is making a better decision quickly.
